Data deletion

Last updated: November 7, 2026

Operator: Martin Ignacio Quiñones (monotributista, CUIT 20-39648334-4)

How to request deletion

Email admin@metrouno.com from your account email with the subject “Data deletion”. Tell us whether you want to close your account, delete specific data or remove a WhatsApp connection, and identify the agency or connected number where relevant. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or identity documents unless we request them through an appropriate channel.

Account deletion is currently requested by email; there is no in-app account deletion button. If you cannot access that email, or an agency supplied your data without you having an account, contact us to verify your identity and the scope of the request. We will confirm receipt and the outcome by email.

What the request covers

Depending on the requested scope and retention obligations, we will delete or anonymize profile data, preferences, sessions, contacts and communications no longer needed, and files under our control that can be erased. Closure revokes account access. Records shared with an agency also require a review of its obligations and other parties’ rights.

For WhatsApp, identify the number and request removal of the connection and associated data: we will review credentials, contacts, messages, media references and history synchronized under Coexistence. Disconnecting the channel does not automatically erase its history. We cannot delete copies on other people’s devices or data Meta retains under its own responsibility. You can also manage the connection through Meta or WhatsApp Business.

Retention and limits on deletion

We retain data needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Deleting an account does not automatically erase an agency’s financial or contractual history: contracts, recorded payments, receipts and evidence required by law or to protect third-party rights remain under restricted access for the applicable period. This exception does not justify keeping unnecessary data.

Backups, where present, may retain information until safely replaced; any restoration must respect completed deletions. We will explain specific restrictions and periods when responding to your request. We do not promise to erase records that must legally be kept.

Your rights in Argentina

Processing is governed by Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law 25,326. You can request access, correction, updating or deletion by emailing admin@metrouno.com. We will verify your identity using the minimum information needed. Access is free every six months, or sooner where there is a legitimate interest.

The legal response period for access is ten calendar days; for correction, updating or deletion, five working days from receipt of the request. If information must be retained, we will explain which data, why and the applicable period. The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP) is the supervisory authority and receives complaints.
